 «Shygys-INVEST» Limited Liability Partnership is engaged in growing and gathering of medicinal plant raw materials.
 Historically, environmental conditions of the Altai Mountains of East Kazakhstan provide an opportunity for plantation growing of medicinal plants, including threatened and endangered species. Sufficient natural resources of some species of medicinal plants enable procurement of wild-growing plant raw materials without damaging their natural populations. Our company has the infrastructure needed to launch the medicinal plant raw materials processing, the development of import-substituting domestic herbal medicinal products from local raw materials, the arrangement of production and sale of medicinal plants and herbal preparations.
Currently, on the pharmaceutical world market there is a shortage of products from medicinal plants listed in the Red Book, some of them grow in the Altai mountains in the East Kazakhstan region. The flora of the East Kazakhstan region has more than 3,000 species of vascular plants, more than 500 species of which are of medicinal value.
For example, Rhaponticum carthamoides; Rhodiola rosea; Cordyceps; Paeóniaanómala; Filipendulaulmaria (L.); Glycyrrhizauralensis; Chamaenerionangustifolium; Veratrumlobelianum; Inula helenium; Achillea millefolium; Bupleurum aureum; Rosa laxa Retz.; Angelica decurrens, and other more than 700 species.
«Shygys-INVEST» LLP has a sufficient scientific and technical potential to grow and procure deserving species of medicinal plants, namely:
- We have obtained the patent, developed the seed mother plantation technology and got the sites for growing and industrial cultivation of valuable endangered species of medicinal plants of Rhaponticum carthamoides and Radiola rosea on a total area of 3277 hectares, located more than 2000 meters above the level of the Baltic Sea.
- We have obtained the support of the local indigenous population and have preliminary arrangement on provision of the paid services referred to the collection of seeds, fruits and roots of medicinal plants, as well as other processing and growing services.
- Our company is located in Kuygan village, Kurshim district, East Kazakhstan region, on the south east of the Altain Mountains and 220 km away from the customs checkpoint Maykapshagay (Zhemunay) with China and has production facilities with the area of 9.5 hectars on the bank of Bukhtarma Reservoir (storage facilities 4200 sq.m., grain crushing plant, sunflower oil production plant, mill, machine shop and other operation facilities), and 378 hectares of bogharic lands 5 km away.
 
The prepared plant raw materials on plantations and in natural populations of East Kazakhstan can be used in the pharmaceutical, perfumery, cosmetic and food industries. Growing of medicinal plants is a profitable highly-demanded business.
We are looking for a partner - a foreign company interested in the project of deep industrial processing of medicinal plants rather than export of raw materials, under a long-term contract for supply of concentrates or herbal formulations to foreign markets.
Now therefore, we consider a possibility for joint projects for deep processing of medicinal plant raw materials (production of substances of medicinal preparations and biologically active substances), arrangement of their production and sale of domestic herbal formulations and herbal teas from environmentally friendly medicinal plants grown in the territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan, drafting of regulatory and technical documentation (pharmaceutical norms and regulations, technical conditions, pilot scale regulations) and arrangement of their industrial production to export the pharmaceuticals abroad.
